Hello! Since we can use mobile chargers to be able to power this up, does the changer's voltage interfere? Let's say I have a 120W charger, will I blow up the keyboard or the voltage has nothing to do with this situation? Thanks! I've seen people saying that batteries damage the keyboard so I'm thinking of using the cable.

Does the synth with the wooden-finish produce a better sound than the same plastic model? I think “yes”. Try placing a wooden plank underneath any synth, and see the difference. Drum-sounds, Pipe-Organ and Brass Section will all start to sound brighter!! (Same settings, same volumes, same ADSR ...)

For the final performance at 18:00, you had to record all of the different tracks separately into another device, right? Or can you do all of that just inside the keyboard?

You should look into 3d printing to replace lost knobs, the resin printers with the right resin are strong enough and you could color match it or paint them....

OK... as of the first video, you have had me amazed. I have owned a Yamaha PSS-480 ever since I walked into our local K-Mart and plopped down my saved paper route money for it in 1987.... and I didn't know or appreciate half of what it could do or be used to achieve. I found your PSS-480 songs on SoundCloud several years ago, was amazed, bought the album, got the downloads. So awesome to look for you on RUclips and get to see all this! Words don't do it justice, man, this is just straight-up awesome talent. Gonna start playing around with everything you've covered and see what I can come up with on my own today.

Wow! Amazing review!! I deeply loved this keyboard! A friend of mine had it, and I used to visit him just to play the keyboard!

I bought one when it came out in 1981, from an add in the magazine OMNI. I still have it! I once plugged it in a massive system, with pedals and effects: it sounded massive!!

I wonder if downloading the software upgrade might have fixed some of your issues? 😀
